Right, just some updated rules for you all. 

OCs are allowed, yes, but we’d also like to see some ASoUE characters. Basically it’s fine to include OCs just don’t have them running around crazy. 

WIPs are fine. If it’s part of an ongoing ASoUE fanfic and you want to submit a snippit feel free too.

Also I believe my noble associate has covered the guidelines well enough in her response, reposted now: 

We made strict guidelines for both. For example, a story with incest must be consensual and its participants over 14. Non-con is only allowed if the participants are unrelated and over 14. We would only like to lower the risk of triggering someone (while non-con in general does trigger some, we know). Paedophilia disgusts us both because it is inherently non-consensual and is damaging to the victim.

And lastly- please don’t send hate! K and I (M) are just two teenagers who love ASoUE and are doing this in our spare time! We had a loooooong talk about rules- and a lot of thought has gone into it. If you find it confusing remember- the story doesn’t have to be about sex!

Our primary motive when starting this blog was to unite and cultivate the ASoUE fandom. 

We are pleased to announce tonight, volunteers, A fanfiction writing contest! 

Fanfics must be about ASoUE, and must involve a ship of two ASoUE characters. The Ship can be Canon or non-canon, but this contest is judged on inventiveness and originality- so get creative! 

The Rules are as follows:

1. Sex is allowed.

2. Language is allowed.

3. Incest is allowed IF it is consensual.

4. STRICTLY NO PAEDOPHILIA (under twelve years of age).

5. Non-con is allowed if rule 3 does not apply and the participants are not related.

6. It must be AT LEAST 200 words in length.

You may submit up to 3 entries.

The prize is a promo and a graphic of your favourite Lemony Snicket quote made. Please submit via the “volunteers submissions” button on our site. You have three weeks to submit (until 25th July) and then K and I (M) will judge the best one. They will be judged on Originality, inventiveness and quality of writing. We also hope to display some of the best fanfics on our page.   

In order to submit you must be one of our volunteers (see “become a volunteer” on our page). 

Please submit, volunteers, and contribute to our fandom. Three weeks. Good Luck!
